Though InSET undertakes a variety of developmental activities, it strives not to go far beyond the following broad sectors of development :

» Community Development, Community Health Planning & Management, giving emphasis on women & child, STD / HIV / AIDS,    Cancer, Sexual and Reproductive Health;

» Economic Empowerment through micro financing, SHG formation and management, including Livelihood, Agriculture and Farm    Improvement, especially to benefit the poor and the disadvantaged;

» Skill building and development among people, especially women, staff working in NGOs, CSOs, CBOs.

» Training, advocacy, and sensitization programs;

» Environment and natural resources Management, including Disaster Mitigation and Management programs;

» Conducting Research, Studies, Monitoring and Evaluation.
