Welcome to "Initiative for Social & Economic Transformation" (InSET)
Initiative for Social & Economic Transformation (InSET) is a secular not-for-profit non-governmental organisation set up with the objective of undertaking developmental activities, Research, Surveys, Studies, and Training programs.  It strives for integrated development of people, irrespective of their caste, creed, religion or region. However, it sees that the benefits of its developmental programs are specifically enjoyed by the socially and economically backward people located in the rural and remotest parts of India.  As a precondition towards the attainment of the goals of InSET, it strives to build up a fair and equitable socio-economic framework by replacing the existing one where opportunities for different segments of people for attainment of their aspirations are not available now.

» Community Development, Community Health Planning & Management,     giving emphasis on women & child, STD/HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Sexual and     Reproductive Health;

» Economic Empowerment through micro financing, SHG formation and     management, including Livelihood, Agriculture and Farm Improvement,     especially to benefit the poor and the disadvantaged;

» Skill building and development among people, especially women, staff     working in NGOs, CSOs, CBOs.

» Training, advocacy, and sensitization programs;

» Environment and natural resources Management, including Disaster     Mitigation and Management programs;

» Conducting Research, Studies, Monitoring and Evaluation.
